Desareguerdo- bordertown After Marc and Bre left and we´d had it with the tourist blackhole that is Cusco, we decided to head back to La Paz to do a few more things we missd out on last time. The bus trip was a freezing cold, toiletless nightmare around 17 hours long. We only just made it through the border too- some locals had set up a blockade with the purpose of stopping any traffic trying to in or out of the country. Spreading large rocks about on the road to make it impassable to vehicles is a fairly common occurence in this part of the continent, and we were spared a long walk and lots of hassle due to the fact that there was a cycling race on that day, and the police broke the blockade to let the bikes through.
