Bus by Boat- Puno to La Paz

Bolivia has a always had a volatile political climate (it's never even really clear which city is their capital), and protests in the form of strikes and road blockades are a perfectly acceptable method of expressing oneself. Our easy road into Bolivia was impassable due to this custom, so we had to take a much more scenic, but rather convoluted route to La Paz. The day involved multiple coaches, walking across the border and motorboating across Lake Titicaca while our luggage laden bus took a separate launch over the crystalline water. I've never seen a bus express emotion, but as we watched the vehicles being punted across the water, they actually appeared anxious.
